Shana calls Darkinjung land home, she is NAISDA Graduate and current art student at Sydney College of the Arts. Her main medium of storytelling is dance however has a deep interest in mixing different art forms in her making process. She has performed under the direction of Jo Clancy with Wagana Aboriginal Dancers, Frances Rings for Atamira Dance Company and Peta Strachan with Jannawi Dance Clan.
Shana also participated in the Banff Indigenous Dance lab in Canada, Time Place Space Residency in Melbourne and the Indigenous Makers lab at NORPA. During her studies at NAISDA she had the very fortunate opportunity of participating in Cultural residencies on country at Moa Island and Nyinyikay North East Arnhem Land.
